Beaches & Bonfires is a local women-owned business run by three long-time friends who grew up along the southern shores of Lake Michigan. With Robin growing up in Sheridan Beach, Meghan in Beverly Shoes, and Gina in Michigan City, we bring deep roots to our work as local business owners. We offer an insider's perspective on what visitors truly crave when escaping to the lake. We’ve channeled our knowledge of the beach community and years of hospitality experience into creating an unforgettable, luxury beach bonfire service.

Bonfire Booking Process

Please review our booking process and time line below.

Step 1 — Book Your Bonfire
Use the “Book Now” feature to schedule your beach bonfire or submit a request through our contact form. For events and private access fires, please use the contact form below.
Step 2 — Get Confirmed
After purchasing your bonfire through the “Book Now” feature, we will confirm your bonfire appointment and package details. Our team will make sure everything is set and ready for your reservation.
Step 3 — Get Your Permit
A bonfire permit is required for your reservation. Please obtain your permit through the Town of Long Beach Bonfire Permit Guidelines. Your permit must be sent to us at least 24 hours before your scheduled bonfire.

Step 4 — Review Your Details
Your bonfire location is listed on your invoice and in your appointment details. A list of our available beach accesses can also be found under the “Locations” tab.
Step 5 — Confirmation Day
On the day of your bonfire, we will send you a confirmation text and email with all of your reservation details. Please keep an eye on your phone and email for important updates.
Step 6 — Show Up & Enjoy!
Just show up and enjoy your beach bonfire! Your attendant will meet you on the beach, and your bonfire setup will be ready for you to relax, celebrate, and enjoy your time by the fire.

Important Info for Booking Your Bonfire

All bonfire reservations include complete setup and breakdown. Your bonfire will be set up 60 minutes prior to sunset so everything is ready for you to enjoy when you arrive. A convenience fee will apply to all private beach access locations.

A bonfire permit is required for your reservation. Customers are responsible for obtaining their permit through the Town of Long Beach. Your permit must be sent to us at least 24 hours before your scheduled bonfire. You can obtain your permit and review the current guidelines through the Town of Long Beach Bonfire Permit Guidelines.
